Bringing Respite, Tenet by Nolan, Betaal by Netflix and Amazon by 50K jobs. Some hope to fight off the Lock-down Blues.



1. Tenet Release - Will this be the beginning of a New Normal?

Christopher Nolan known for the Block Buster movies like Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception has maintained that he will release Tenet in theatres and not via OTT(Netflix, Amazon). The Twitter page for Tenet to States that Tenet will Be released in theatres on 17th July 2020. There is a possibility that this may come true as governments all over the world are giving relaxations in the Lock-Down. Some Indian States to have given relaxations. What this will mean for us is relief from the boredom and monotony if theatres open. However, for this to happen, government approval would be needed and adherence to social distancing norms at all theatres.

2. Betaal - Horror for Boredom On 24th May?

Much awaited Netflix Series from Red Chillies Entertainment will be available from 24th May. This horror series, saw some trouble after a case of Copyright infringement was filed against the creators of the show. The Bombay High court has given green light to the show, however, the final decision is still pending. After the disaster of, Nawazuddin  Starrer Ghoomketu on Zee5 the public does want something engaging to follow. Betaal with its Zombies, Horror appeal and Special forces action Sequences can become an addictive watch.

3. AMAZON To Create 50,000 Jobs across India

Amazon India will create 50,000 Jobs in India in the supply chain process. As per the latest update, these jobs will be Temporary but will definitely help those who were fired due to the lock-down. Additionally, Amazon is set to venture in food delivery and will create more jobs in that sector too and give tough competition to Swiggy and Zomato. This is much surprising as swiggy and zomato have recently fired a lot of their employees. Amazon hiring in this tough time is certainly good news and we Indians wholeheartedly thank Mr Jeff  Bezos (Founder and CEO of Amazon) for this kind gesture.





  • With filmmakers ready to run movies worth billions in theatres, and Companies creating new jobs, a new normal may soon be reached. If not, don't worry, we still got Netflix and Amazon.
