Grown in Badamtam Tea estate in Darjeeling, West Bengal. This Tea is priced at Rs 2,00,000 per Kg and is equated to the Champagne of France due to its Luxury appeal and rareness. A very limited quantity is produced and much of it is exported to maintain its Unique persona.

Grown in Makaibari Tea Estate in Darjeeling, this mystical tea was sold for Rs 1,11,000 per Kg in 2014 and held this record until it was broken by our number one on the list. While Moonlight was equated to a Champagne, Silver Tips is equated to Cognac, this is due to its distinct characteristic in the form of taste and aroma.
3. Manohori Gold Tea
Grown in Manohori Tea estate in Dibrugarh, Assam. This Tea was sold for Rs 50,000 per Kg in 2019. This tea is produced from the buds of P-126, which is said to be the finest tea clone. And just like an exquisite tea it is hand plucked and not by machines.
4. Golden Needle Tea
Grown in Donyi Polo Tea Estate in Arunachal Pradesh. Although Arunachal Pradesh is lesser known for its tea and tea estates, this Maverick tea variety was sold for Rs 40,000 per Kg. The experts claim that this Indian Variety of Oolong Tea has a bright future and will be sold for a greater price. Adding to its Uniqueness is the fact that this Tea is only grown at Donyi Polo Tea estate in India. Similar varieties do grow in China.
